New Year is not a hindrance!

In China, the celebration of the traditional New Year has ended. This year it took place from 11 to 17 February.

Despite the weekend, the work of the transport and logistics industry did not stop. In particular, foreign trade activities continued, and seaports even noticeably increased the volume of cargo transshipment.

Thus, according to the data released today by the Chinese Association of Ports, the container turnover of the Shanghai port during the New Year holidays increased by 20% compared to the same period last year, and the Ningbo-Zhoushan port – by almost 29%.

In other large seaports – Tianjin, Shanghai, Ningbo-Zhoushan, Guangzhou and Shenzhen – container trade grew by 9-11%.
