By 2025, the construction of the Blagoveshchensk dry port is planned in the Amur region. The agreement on this was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum-2022 between the Agency for the Development of Project Initiatives, part of the Region Group of Companies, the government of the region and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).
The new complex, which will be a “cargo village”, will be located near the village of Berezovka, in the Ivanovo district, just 60 kilometers from Heihe (China), a free trade zone.
The construction of the facility will be carried out in stages on an area of 320 hectares and will create more than a hundred new jobs.
In addition to storage areas, loading and transshipment areas, the new port will also provide a platform for business. It is planned to create a “cargo village” here, that is, a logistics center with a developed infrastructure, including an industrial park, an AGRO technopark and a warehouse area. In the port area, cargo will not only be able to arrive and be stored, but also sorted, processed and forwarded to various routes by various modes of transport.
The Blagoveshchensk dry port will be able to store 800 thousand tons of cargo. Separate plots will also be allocated for various goods, including mineral fertilizers, liquefied natural gas, dangerous goods and agricultural products
